We, who are not particularly attractive, have mediocre intelligence, and live with financial constraints, tend to share some common traits!!

You never know what worse luck your bad luck has saved you from

We are so ordinary in appearance that no one ever bothers to take a second look at us. Whether we sit by the roadside eating watermelon with a messy face or step down gracefully from a rickshaw at a program's entrance, no one pays attention to us.

We never top any competitive exams. In school and college, we linger just below the top ranks, only to raise the expectations of our family and loved ones. But when we dive into the vast ocean of competition, we either sink under the weight of those expectations or float back up lifeless, like a poisoned fish.

Our financial stories are often heartbreaking. As kids, when we wished to buy a snack worth 20 bdt, we would have only 16 bdt. In middle age, when we dream of living in a house that costs 20,000 bdt, we would have only 16,000 bdt. And in old age, when we desire a car worth 2 million taka, we find only 1.6 million in our bank account.

Through these tiny gaps of 'two' or 'four,' all our dreams, desires, and aspirations slip away!!

We cannot sing, recite poetry, paint, debate, or become the center of attention in lively gatherings. One day, we suddenly realize that the Almighty didn’t send us into this world with any exceptional talent.

He sent us merely to marvel at the gifted works of others, to applaud them, but not to receive applause ourselves!!

We create crowds but can never become the reason for one. We dream for others but can never become the reason for someone else's dreams. We appreciate everyone but are never appreciated ourselves.

Those of us who try to set ourselves apart from the crowd always fail. In the hope of receiving a few claps, we become people-pleasers. In trying to be extraordinary, we often become the subject of ridicule among those closest to us.

The ones we want to impress look at us with pity. The ones we seek priority from, treat us with neglect. The ones for whom we wish to bring the world to their feet, say, 'You are not enough!!'

At the end of the day, all we are left with are blows, Like a pat on the back.
